WALKING THE BUNNY

As the we jump from a so called Summer to Autumn I thought I'd take the opportunity to get Nala the bunny out of the house for an afternoon! So I popped on my new Winter coat and hat and off we went. As much as I'd like to tell you all that Nala thoroughly enjoys a run outside it simply isn't the case! Where ever this bunny goes she just likes to sit down, clean her face and eat anything that you put in front of her! Hence the reason she is always on obesity management.

All that aside; she is the sweetest critter I've ever owned...and those of you close to me will know I've had my fair share of furry pets! She is also the best looking lady I have ever seen with a beard! Anyways, I must get back to writing my Literature Review! I keep asking myself why I have left it until my final year at University to start my blog! Hope everyones having a lovely week!

BONFIRE NIGHT AGAIN!?

Once again another year has passed and Bonfire Night is here again!! If my Dad ever taught me one thing, it was that the older you get; the faster they go.

I have been so busy recently and am now getting the dreaded panic I need to get crack-a-lacking with my literature review. Hand in is only a few weeks away and I'm jetting off to Shanghai next Sunday, so need to get my bum into gear.

Therefore, this year instead of snuggling in a puffy coat, wellington boots and a woolly hat; I have opted for an early night with the bunny and an early morning in the library!!

IT'S A FRIDAY THING

I believe every Friday should be a small celebration! After all it is the end of the week! So this is how I have spent today so far...wearing trainers, not lugging round a handbag, visiting Pets at Home for animal supplies and a dinner date at Pizza Hut!

LITTLE BLACK DRESS EVENT

This week me and my friend Katy Fox headed down to an event held by LittleBlackDress.co.uk.

The night was to promote their website and launch their own label, featuring their take on the 'Ultimate Little Black Dress'.

It was held at their photography studio in Manchester and featured a range products offered on their website. These included Mode Z leather handbags and rails of clothing by the likes of Rise Fashion, Gorgeous Couture and The Pretty Dress Company.

The space was airy and perfectly suited to the brands identity, I especially loved the funky furniture, sausage rolls and computers to allow guests to browse their online store. This is where I found THE bunny necklace, retailing at £110 for pure origami rabbit delight!! This is now being featured on my christmas list!!

Ok so before I update you all on my week I'd like to introduce you to my new hair! No matter what I do I always seem to go back to blonde!

SLATTERY'S WITH SOME SPECIAL LADIES

Last week it was my best friend Jemma's birthday; and as she is almost heavily pregnant she decided to celebrate with a cakey day at Slattery's, ie. chocolate heaven!!!

So me and the rest of the gang tried our absolute best to curve our eating for the morning; in the hopes that we would be able to conquer the Chocolate Challenge!!

The Chocolate Challenge consists of a 'individual' sized chocolate cake, four chocolate cups containing melted white chocolate, melted milk chocolate, fresh cream with a chocolate coin and homemade chocolate ice cream. To wash the lot down the feast also includes Slattery's signature hot chocolate!!

Although this may not sound over the top in words, trust me when faced with this amount of chocolate it is so overwhelming!

Jemma had the full intention of finishing the alone and winning a box of chocolates on her special day. Unfortunately; it didn't quite happen that way and even with five adults and a small child on the case, we still ended up taking it home in a doggy bag!

However, without disappointment from losing our challenge; we ate the rest of our yummy food and headed downstairs to purchase a few chocolatey treats and swoon over the wedding cakes! All in all we had a fantastic afternoon, and a brilliant catch up! Happy Birthday besty!!

MY NEW BLUE SHOES

So as promised here are my new blue shoes!!! And aren't they just fabulous!!! I'm not usually one for following major trends within the catwalk colour department; but who can resist a bit of cobalt!

These photographs were taken next to the most beautiful tree I could find in the Botanic Gardens in Brussels. All photographs have been taken courtesy of Luke Moody, and I even managed to sneak in a quick pic of him.

For my next post I promise you all lots and lots of CAKES, as this afternoon I will be visiting Slattery bakery in Whitefield Manchester...mmmm!
